D'après la photographe Susan Sontag le Mémento Mori se définit ainsi : “All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt.”

Mais l’enfance n'est-elle pas immortelle ? N'est-ce pas ces instants gracieux que nous gardons au coeur toute notre vie, les rendant ainsi vivants pour toujours.
